After four decades of experience in the construction industry of Florida, Jeff decided to pursue his culinary passion. He discovered a vintage 1970s bread truck, which he transformed into a distinctive food truck through dedication, patience, and persistence. The name Skinny & Chubs was inspired by Jeff’s late brother Jody, who shared his enthusiasm for cooking.

Upon completing a distinguished four-decade career in Florida’s construction industry, Jeff pursued his culinary ambitions when he chanced upon a vintage 1970s bread truck and, through unwavering dedication and creativity, transformed it into a unique food truck. The name Skinny & Chubs honors Jeff’s late brother Jody, who shared his passion for cooking. The custom fabricated smoker from Texas was named “The Real McCoy” after his wife’s mother’s family.
